![]() Effective Tuesday March 17, 2020 NOTA will begin to offer free transportation services due to COVID-19 until further notice. The goal is to maintain current service levels at this time and put procedures in place to help keep the public and our employees safe. A mask must be worn at all times by the rider and driver while on the vehicle. Please note if you can answer yes to any of the following questions you can NOT ride NOTA:
NOTA is not medical transportation. The driver will give you hand sanitizer prior to boarding the vehicle. NOTA is disinfecting the vehicles daily. If you have been exposed to COVID you must quarantine for 14 days and will not be able to use NOTA until your quarantine is over. We cannot take any rider to have a COVID test unless it is a pre-requisite for an upcoming medical/surgical procedure. We may ask to see the doctor’s orders. The rider must be symptom free. In an effort to help senior citizens (age 60 or older) and individuals with underlying health conditions reduce their risk of being exposed to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), NOTA is willing to help residents obtain food and other essentials from local Kroger or Meijer stores or FISH at no charge. Please call dispatch for more information. |
